A studio website with room for every artist.
CAN TATTOO is a tattoo studio on Sydney Road in Brunswick. Baptiste designed and built its three-page website, bringing twelve artists, their tattoos and their flash designs into one place.
The starting point
What it
needed to do.
The studio takes enquiries through Instagram. The website gives visitors a way to explore the artists, find work they like and prepare the details the studio needs for a conversation.
The approach
How it
came together.
The design takes its cues from a printed flash catalogue. Red condensed headings, paper-coloured backgrounds and thick black image frames give the artists’ work a consistent setting. The layouts give phone visitors their own way to browse the studio.

Details worth a closer look
A full-screen artwork viewer gives tattoos and flash sheets more space. The same framing language carries through the studio video and image galleries.
A brief that becomes a message
A short form gathers the visitor’s idea and turns it into a message they can send to the studio on Instagram. It supports an enquiry rather than making a booking.
Work beyond launch
Baptiste has continued to update artist pages and refine the website after launch, including changes to navigation and motion.
