Two products, side by side
The comparison presents Classic and Horizon together so shoppers can explore the two shapes and move to the product that interests them.
Pocket Pixel · Live website
Pocket Pixel is Baptiste’s own Australian online store for retro handheld consoles. He set the design direction and built a custom storefront connected to Shopify for products, cart and checkout.
The starting point
The store helps shoppers choose between the upright Classic and the wider Horizon, then choose a colour and bundle. The product pages bring those decisions together before checkout.
The approach
A dark, product-led design gives the consoles space and uses lilac and gold to distinguish the range. The store moves from a side-by-side comparison into product details and a configurator that keeps the selected options together.
The comparison presents Classic and Horizon together so shoppers can explore the two shapes and move to the product that interests them.
Customers can choose a bundle, select console colours and add a protection kit. The configurator updates the total as those choices change.
The website has its own design and interface. Shopify supplies the product information, cart and checkout rather than defining the storefront layout.
Baptiste continues to update the storefront, including product information and page sections. Delivery estimates sit alongside the product choices.
